Dwight made 3 mistakes, 1. He kicked michael straight up long range without distracting michael before, giving michael a chance to grab and counter him. 2. He rushed michael but missed an opportunity to break michael's balance by sweeping the back of his knees, giving michael the advantage, like having a cut tree fall on a lumberjack after he cuts it. 3. He never used a roll technique to escape michael clutches in the few seconds window he had to escape before michael got the secure drop on him.
